The last couple of months have been hectic and the lack of any articles on the blog bears testimony to the same. However, the time has been highly productive in other ways. Bhagvad Kripa se a long awaited manorath was finally realized and one more is well underway towards fruition.
A couple of years ago, Bhagvad ichha se, we commenced construction of two nutan (new) Havelis over here in Bhavnagar. The goal was to create edifices that in addition to function even in form truly represented a ‘Nandalaya’.
‘Nandalaya’ (Nanda + Alaya) as the word suggests is the Alaya (abode) of Shri Nandraiji and Shri Yashoda Maiya, the residence of a Vallabhkul, where Shri Thakurji is so lovingly offered seva; which is the underlying bhav behind each and every Pushtimarg Vaishnav Haveli.
On the 9th of Aug Shri Thakurji was vaajte gaajte carried to the Shri ‘Vallabhalaya’ Haveli where the patotsav was done at the hands of pitrucharan, Pujya Goswami 108 Shri Navneetlalji Maharajshri. The photos of the event are in the first gallery.
The second gallery contains a couple of images of the under construction ‘Nandalaya’ haveli for which we, Prabhu Kripa se, are working towards having the vastu by the end of this year. The 3D picture of the haveli, though accurate, does have its rough edges, because it is just a study model I had initially created for myself.
Also included is a gallery containing photos of the Janamdin celebrations of pitrucharan, Pujya Goswami 108 Shri Navneetlalji Maharajshri. The occasion was celebrated on the 21st of Aug, at Shri Chhabilaji Haveli, where we presently reside.

In our general family talk on the dining table, today only we have shared thoughts that its not an easy job for a comman man to even built is own house in a lifetime.

This is soo lovely. I was almost transported to Bhavnagar! Nice jakhi of the Haveli, Balak’s and Vaishnav’s.
I am now able to appreciate to a certain extent the spaces, structure of Shri Nandalaya Haveli which Aapshri has designed.
