Upanayan – Yagnopavit ceremony is one of the 16 sanskars starting from Garbhadhan to Vivaah according to the Hindu Sanatan Dharma. In modern times, the family of Shri Vallabhacharya -Vallabhkul would be among the minority where these holy customs have been ‘fully’ preserved as Pushtimarg follows the Vedic tradition.
